We’re living in the information age…
And sometimes, it feels like too much information. Especially when it comes to health and fitness.
Every scroll brings a new “expert” with wild claims and perfect abs. But what’s the source? What’s their agenda? Are they selling something—or selling you short?
The truth is, more isn’t always better.
Want to be better at golf? Play more golf.
Want to ace a test? Study more.
But in fitness? More effort doesn’t always mean more progress.
Health and fitness require a sweet spot—and that spot changes depending on your life. New job? New baby? Caring for a loved one? Those stressors matter. Fitness itself is a stressor. Push too hard at the wrong time, and you burn out, not build up.
I’ve seen it time and again—people either freeze from being overwhelmed or go full-throttle and crash. But here’s the thing - you don’t need to overthink it.
Try this:
- Eat mostly whole foods
- Strength train 1–2x/week
- Walk 8–10K steps a day
Is it flashy? No. Does it “go viral”? Probably not.
But it works. It’s sustainable. It’s real.
And in a country where nearly 50% of adults are obese, these simple steps would change lives.
