Picture a whirlpool of negative thoughts dragging you into self-criticism and unworthiness. Triggers like failure ignite it, fueling a cycle that feels impossible to escape.
(Why did I eat that dessert? It didn’t even taste good! Now I feel like crap! I must not deserve to be healthy.)
Breaking the Cycle
Escape begins with awareness, compassion, and courage:
💥 Cultivate Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself. Mistakes are part of being human.
💥 Challenge Negative Thoughts: Question the validity of your self-critical beliefs.
💥 Practice Vulnerability: Share your struggles with trusted individuals.
💥 Focus on Growth: View setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth.
💥 Set Boundaries: Say no to self-criticism and surround yourself with supportive people.
💥 Practice Mindfulness: Observe your thoughts without judgment to break free from shame's grip.
And as I tell my people all the time, picking ourselves back up requires PRACTICE!

Perfection is a myth. Embrace imperfection and recognize the beauty in vulnerability and growth.
